1998 BMW E36 M3 3.2
Asking : $ POA
The E36 M3 was a landmark motor vehicle that rewrote the book on daily drivable sports cars. In 1993 you had a handful of options: primarily the Mercedes W202 and Audi C4, plus some heterogeneous options like the Jaguar XJ8.
And then you had the E36 M3.
You see, the Berlin wall had fallen, Germany was reunified and the bright, diligent men and women at the BMW head office in Munich were feeling inspired. Gone were the days of ultra lightweight, low displacement, low power go karts. It was time to have their cake and eat it too.
What they came up with has formed the landscape we know today.
BMW had managed to produce a 4 seat family sedan that was capable of deleting brand spanking new Porsche 911s and Ferrari 348s at the traffic lights and giving them an extremely close shave around the worlds most revered circuit: Nordschleife. For perspective, the 3.2 M3 had a faster Nürburgring time than the following: Mercedes R230 SL55 (yes a two door with 517 brake horsepower), Maserati 3200GT, Merc C32 (obviously), Honda NSX and the Aston Martin DB7 and only a few seconds slower than the brand new F355 ferrari and Porsche 911.
It was fair to say Ferrari and Lamborghini had had a firecracker inserted where the sun don't shine and well, Mercedes and Audi are still in recovery in 2025.
We are proud to offer a 1998 Boston Green on Dove interior with a mere 108,000kms of recorded use. This example has been meticulously maintained by a very loving previous owner and presents magnificently. Both the interior and exterior present exceptionally well with only a few very minor areas that distinguish it from its factory condition.
The E36 M3 is probably our hottest pick for future classic status for the reasons outlined above (not to mention it is aging like a bottle of '76 Grange) so come down and check it out.
